Child Safety Standards

These Child Safety Standards apply to Idicine — the Idicine mobile application published on the Google Play Store under the app name “Idicine” (package name com.idicine.app) by the developer Idicine — together with the Idicine website and all related services (collectively, the “Service”). In these standards, “Idicine,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Idicine, the developer of the app as it appears on our Google Play store listing.

1. Our Commitment

Protecting children is a core responsibility. Idicine prohibits, and works actively to prevent, detect, and remove, any content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. We comply with all applicable child safety laws and cooperate with law enforcement and recognized child protection organizations.

2. The Service Is Intended for Adults

Idicine is a peer-support and community platform for self-reported health and wellness experiences. The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. It is not directed to, designed for, or intended to be used by children. Accounts identified as belonging to minors will be removed.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Idicine and will result in immediate removal of content, termination of the responsible account, and reporting to the appropriate authorities:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, real or computer-generated, including drawn, animated, or AI-generated depictions.
• Any content that sexualizes, sexually exploits, or sexually abuses a minor.
• Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to engage a minor in sexual activity or to obtain sexual content from a minor.
• Trafficking, advertising, soliciting, facilitating, or otherwise promoting the sexual exploitation of children.
• Sharing, linking to, or directing users toward any of the above material.

4. Prevention and Detection

We take proactive measures designed to keep CSAE off the Service, including:

• Clear prohibitions in our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
• In-app reporting and blocking tools that let any user flag content, profiles, or messages.
• Review of reported content and removal of violating material.
• Suspension and termination of accounts that violate these standards.
• Preservation of relevant information and reporting of apparent CSAE to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

5. In-App Reporting Mechanism

Idicine provides an in-app mechanism that lets any user report child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any other concern without leaving the app. Every piece of content, every profile, and every message has a report control, and users can also block other users. If you encounter content or behavior that may involve the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, you can:

• Use the in-app Report function available directly on content, profiles, and messages, without leaving the app; or
• Email our child safety team at childsafety@idicine.com.

Reports are reviewed promptly. We remove violating content, take action on the responsible accounts (including suspension or termination), preserve relevant information, and escalate apparent CSAM to law enforcement and child protection authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), where appropriate.

Idicine maintains a dedicated point of contact for child safety matters, including questions about our practices for preventing child sexual abuse material and our compliance with applicable child safety standards:

7. Reporting to Authorities

Suspected child sexual abuse and exploitation should also be reported directly to the relevant authorities:

• United States: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
• Other regions: Your local law enforcement agency or the INHOPE network of hotlines.
• Emergencies: If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (for example, 911 in the United States).

8. Compliance and Updates

Idicine complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. We review and update these standards as needed and will keep our published child safety standards and child safety point of contact current.
