Community Guidelines

Effective Date: May 12, 2026  ·  Last Updated: May 19, 2026

Idicine is a peer-support platform for self-reported health and wellness experiences.

Our community is built around Bio Chats: conversations that may only be visible or joinable for people with a high biological match to the creator. This makes trust, privacy, safety, and honesty essential.

These Community Guidelines apply to everything you do on Idicine, including Bio Chats, comments, replies, usernames, profiles, messages, uploads, reactions, reports, and any other content or interaction.

By using Idicine, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any additional consent terms that apply.

1. The Core Rule

Share your experience. Do not give medical advice.

Idicine is a place to say:

  • “This happened to me.”
  • “This is what I noticed.”
  • “This is what I discussed with my clinician.”
  • “This supplement did not seem to work for me.”
  • “I felt tired after training and I am curious if others experienced this.”

Idicine is not a place to say:

  • “You should take this.”
  • “Stop your medication.”
  • “Change your dose.”
  • “This will cure you.”
  • “This is safe for your genes.”
  • “Doctors are wrong.”
  • “This protocol works for everyone.”
  • “Do this instead of seeing a doctor.”

2. Idicine Is Peer Support, Not Medical Care

Idicine is only for users who are 18 years of age or older.

Idicine does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, dosage instructions, genetic counseling, or emergency support.

Users are not allowed to use Idicine as a substitute for professional care.

You should always talk to a qualified clinician before changing medication, dosage, supplements, treatment, or health routines.

If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately. If you are in emotional distress or thinking about self-harm, call or text 988 in the United States or seek immediate professional help.

3. Be Honest About Your Experience

You may share personal experiences, but you must not knowingly post false, misleading, exaggerated, fabricated, or deceptive content. Do not claim results you did not experience. Do not pretend to have a blood type, genetic trait, biomarker pattern, diagnosis, medication history, side effect, supplement reaction, or health experience that is not true. Do not manipulate Bio Chats, match features, votes, replies, or community signals.

Idicine cannot verify the accuracy of self-reported biological information. Bio matching is based on what users choose to share and is not clinically validated. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.

You may not use AI tools, language models, or automated systems to generate or fabricate personal health experiences, reactions, symptoms, or observations that you post as your own. Every experience you share must be genuinely your own.

4. Respect Biological Privacy

Idicine is built around biological matching. That makes privacy extremely important.

You may not: share another user's blood type, genetic information, biomarkers, symptoms, medication history, supplement use, health details, identity, screenshots, messages, or profile information outside Idicine without their explicit consent; try to identify anonymous or pseudonymous users; pressure users to reveal raw DNA, bloodwork, lab results, diagnoses, medication lists, or private information; copy, scrape, export, screenshot, publish, or re-post private community content without permission; or use information from Idicine to target, profile, discriminate against, contact, or make decisions about another user.

What happens in a Bio Chat should stay in that Bio Chat.

5. Do Not Give Dangerous Instructions

You may not post content that encourages or instructs users to: start, stop, increase, decrease, combine, or replace medications; ignore medical advice; avoid emergency care; use unsafe dosages; combine medications and supplements in risky ways; use illegal substances; self-diagnose serious conditions; delay professional care; engage in self-harm, eating disorder behavior, or dangerous body practices; or follow extreme protocols, detoxes, fasting, dosing, or supplement stacks that could cause harm.

You may discuss your own experience, but you must not tell another user what they should do medically.

If your post could reasonably be read as a recommendation or instruction for another user, rewrite it as a personal observation before posting. When in doubt, add: “This was my personal experience. Please speak with your clinician before making any changes.”

6. Medication and Supplement Discussions

You may discuss personal experiences with medications and supplements.

You may say: “I took this and felt wired.” “I noticed side effects after a low dose.” “I stopped after speaking with my doctor.” “This did not seem to help me.” “I am asking my clinician about this.”

You may not say: “Take this dose.” “You do not need your medication.” “This supplement is better than medication.” “This is safe for everyone with your gene.” “This cures anxiety, fatigue, ADHD, depression, inflammation, or any disease.” “Combine these for stronger effects.” “Doctors hide this.”

7. No Diagnosis or Treatment Claims

You may not diagnose other users. You may not tell someone they have a condition, disease, deficiency, genetic disorder, psychiatric disorder, or medical problem. You may not claim that a product, supplement, medication, diet, protocol, or routine diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, or reverses disease.

8. Be Respectful

Treat others with dignity. Do not harass, threaten, bully, shame, stalk, intimidate, insult, or attack other users. Do not mock users for their health concerns, symptoms, medication use, supplement use, genetics, blood type, body, disability, mental health, identity, or personal experiences. Do not post hateful, discriminatory, degrading, or dehumanizing content. Do not use slurs or promote hatred toward any protected group.

9. No Exploitation or Manipulation

You may not exploit vulnerable users. You may not: pressure users to buy products; send unsolicited sales messages; offer paid medical advice; offer fake cures; request money; run scams; recruit users into schemes; use fear-based tactics; claim secret knowledge; pretend to be a clinician or researcher; or manipulate users into sharing private health or genetic information.

10. Commercial Activity

Idicine is for personal, non-commercial use unless we give written permission. You may not use Idicine to sell supplements, medications, tests, coaching, health services, devices, courses, protocols, or products; promote affiliate links; recruit customers; recruit research participants; advertise a brand; conduct market research; or collect user data without written permission from Idicine.

11. Healthcare Professionals and Researchers

Healthcare professionals, researchers, pharmacists, coaches, therapists, and other professionals may participate in Idicine only as community members sharing their own personal experiences. You may not use Idicine to provide professional medical care, clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or professional services to other users under any circumstances. You may not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, pharmacist-patient, or other professional relationship through Idicine.

12. No Emergency or Crisis Use

Do not use Idicine to request emergency help. Do not rely on other users to respond to emergencies.

If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 911 immediately.

If you are in emotional distress or thinking about self-harm, call or text 988 in the United States, or contact your local emergency services or crisis line.

If you see another user who appears to be in crisis, contact emergency services. Do not rely on Idicine to monitor or respond to emergencies. Idicine is not responsible for monitoring crisis situations or emergency responses.

13. No Illegal or Regulated Content

You may not use Idicine to promote, facilitate, request, or provide instructions for illegal activity, including illegal drugs; prescription medication sales; controlled substance sourcing; counterfeit products; unlicensed medical services; fraudulent tests; illegal genetic testing; stolen data; hacking; or any activity that violates applicable law.

14. No Harmful Content

You may not post content that contains: malware; phishing links; spam; scams; fraud; pornography; graphic violence; sexual exploitation; non-consensual intimate content; threats; instructions for violence; or content designed to harm, deceive, or exploit others.

15. Do Not Misuse Matching

You may not attempt to bypass, manipulate, reverse engineer, or abuse Idicine's matching, Bio Chat visibility, privacy controls, or access thresholds. You may not create fake profiles to access Bio Chats. You may not lie about your biological information to enter conversations.

16. Keep Content Relevant

Bio Chats should be based on real experiences, questions, or observations. Do not flood conversations with repetitive, irrelevant, promotional, spammy, or low-quality content. Do not derail Bio Chats with unrelated arguments.

17. Usernames, Profiles, and Avatars

Your username, profile, and avatar must not: impersonate another person or company; claim false medical credentials; include hate speech; contain sexual or graphic content; promote products or services; include private information of others; or mislead users about who you are.

18. Reporting

If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, report it through the app or contact us at support@idicine.com. Reports help us keep Idicine safer, but we do not guarantee that every reported item will be removed.

19. Moderation

Idicine may remove, hide, restrict, label, downrank, or review content at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion. Moderation decisions do not mean that Idicine endorses or verifies any content that remains available.

20. Enforcement

Violations may result in: content removal; warning; temporary restrictions; loss of Bio Chat access; commenting restrictions; account suspension; account termination; reporting to law enforcement where appropriate (including situations involving credible threats of harm to self or others, child safety concerns, or illegal activity); or other action we consider necessary. Serious violations may result in immediate termination without warning.

21. Appeals

If your content or account is restricted, you may be able to appeal by contacting support@idicine.com. We may not offer appeals for all moderation decisions.

22. Final Reminder

Idicine works only if people feel safe sharing honest experiences with people close to their biology.

  • Protect other users' privacy.
  • Share experiences, not instructions.
  • Do not give medical advice.
  • Do not exploit trust.
  • When in doubt, talk to a qualified clinician.
The one question to ask before posting:Am I describing what happened to me, or am I telling someone what to do? If it's the latter, rewrite it.
